MITTY INTRAMURAL ROBOTICS

TKO is back for more fun activities for the 2023-2024 season. This year, the members of TKO were split into two groups: the FRC team and MIR (Mitty Intramural Robotics). Our members have planned out an agenda to create an engaging learning environment for MIR. This team, with both new and former members, creates smaller robots that will compete within the robotics team. They are trained in their chosen departments, and later split into smaller teams for competitions. The newer members will build more experience through participating in MIR, and returning members can improve and participate even further. This is preparation for the FRC team, comprised of experienced and trained members, which participates in the yearly FIRST Robotics Competition.

Some of our plans include hosting introductory meetings explaining what we do as an FRC Robotics team, giving an overview of our departments, and demonstrating how everyone works together and utilizes their skill sets to help the team succeed in competitions.
