For the 2025-2026 robotics season, the members of TKO were split into two groups: the FRC team and MIR (Mitty Intramural Robotics). Our members planned out an agenda to create an engaging learning environment for MIR. The MIR team, with both new and former members, created smaller robots that competed within the robotics team. They were trained in their chosen departments, and later split into smaller teams for competitions. Those who participated gained valuable experience and returning members can improve and participate even further. Our M.I.R program is in preparation for the FRC team, comprised of experienced and trained members, which participates in the yearly FIRST Robotics Competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The M.I.R program allows those completely new to robotics to understand what we as a team do, and also allows for them to gain valuable experience of what it is like to be in a competition and builds a mindset of co-operation: being able to work as a good team member and having good sportsmanship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
