Students are trained in using CNC machines, Laser cutters, and other other shop tools to manufacture and produce the mechanical structure of our robot. Using Java, Programming codes motor controllers, pistons, and sensors to control the robot\u2019s mechanisms. Our current focus this year is to start establishing new connections outside of FRC, such as helping spread STEM to a wider audience.&nbsp;TKO has been active in reaching out to our local community by teaching the basics of robotics to kids. We also coordinate projects such as bonding events with other schools. Not only do we focus on the robotics community, but we also promote social awareness and collaborate with DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion). We additionally write and edit awards for competitions. The president oversees the entire team, working with sponsors, operations, and the mechanical side of the team.
