It\u2019s o-fish-al, we\u2019re in the swing of build season! From Kick Off to the end of Week 1, we\u2019ve been very productive in preparing for the new game, Reefscape, and in building on previous designs to gain experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mechanically<\/strong>, we\u2019ve been prototyping our new robot using CAD for our season, and we\u2019ve built the kit bot that FIRST sent us. To prepare for further testing and design, we\u2019ve started assembling the field elements required for the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the electrical <\/strong>aspect of our team, we\u2019ve fixed brown-out issues on our old robot by replacing and fixing components, enabling us to do driver testing. We also prepared for the 2025 season by updating all devices to 2025 firmware. <\/p>\n\n\n\n On the programming<\/strong> side, we\u2019ve done code setting up autoalign, allowing the robot to align to the field elements and score points using computer vision, and we\u2019ve also done basic LED code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In our other operations<\/strong>, we\u2019ve been drafting scouting app ideas along with building up what our branding for the game would look like, brainstorming ideas for our shirt and our hoodie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We\u2019ve made a very solid base of progress for this build season, and we\u2019re excited to see what it has in store for us! <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" It\u2019s o-fish-al, we\u2019re in the swing of build season!
