We’ve officially wrapped up our first competition of the school year! Two weeks ago, TKO 1351 competed at CalGames, marking the start of our offseason.
Throughout the qualification rounds, we faced some tough competition, finishing in 28th place with a record of 4 wins and 6 losses. Despite the challenges, our team worked hard to adapt and improve. Special congratulations to our drive team for all the work they did during every match!
Moving into playoffs, we joined Alliance 8 alongside Paly Robotics, the Wildhats, and Peninsula Robotics. Together, we took on Alliance 5 in the second round and came out victorious! Unfortunately, our playoff run ended in the third round, but not without some exciting teamwork, with us placing 5th in the playoffs!
CalGames was a great opportunity to strengthen our teamwork, bond with new FRC teams, and reflect on how we can improve as we prepare for the 2027 season. A huge thank you to our drive team, pit crew, scouts, and mentors who helped make this tournament possible!
